If you're a credit or CE student currently enrolled, you will automatically receive an e-mail account. What does this mean for you?
- E-mail addresses will follow the MyRecords format (userid@my.LoneStar.edu).
- Your LSC e-mail can be forwarded to a personal e-mail account (Hotmail, Yahoo!, Google).
- It's yours for life!
Remember: All official communication from LSC will be sent to this new e-mail account!

RETURNING STUDENTS - LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT
Those who have already activated their new student e-mail account.
NEW EMAIL ACCOUNTS- ACTIVATE YOUR NEW ACCOUNT
- If you have not registered for classes since Fall 2007, you must update your account information prior to receiving an e-mail account. Click here to log in and update your information. Please allow 24 to 48 hours after updating the application before attempting to activate your e-mail account.
- If you have not obtained your initial password needed to activate the account, log in to MyRecords first. Select Student Menu, then Access Student e-mail to get your password.
Go to http://www.exchangelabs.com/ to access the Microsoft Exchange login page.
1. Click Log on.
2. Fill out the Windows ID box with your userID@my.LoneStar.edu login and the password you obtained from the Access Student e-mail section of MyRecords. This password is different from the password you use to login to MyRecords.
3. Fill out the necessary information to activate the account. Use the password you obtained in MyRecords first, then create a new password.
4. Once activation is completed, click on Sign in to Windows Live.
5. Sign in using your User ID (userid@my.LoneStar.edu) and your newly created password. You may choose to bookmark this login page for future access.
*Note: If you cannot remember your password, enter your User ID and click "Forgot your password?"
6. Select the appropriate options on the Outlook Web Access screen and click OK.
7. Congratulations! You've successfully set up your student e-mail account. This is how your inbox will appear.
