Assessment Testing

Lone Star College-Kingwood offers frequent testing and convenient times. Select the date and time right for you:

• Students must see an advisor before testing.
• Students may register with the Learning Center (SFA 200) up to one day before the date of the test, provided there are still openings.
  
• Students MUST pay the $29 testing fee by check, credit card, or money order when they come in to test. No cash accepted.
  
• It takes 10 business days for the advising office to receive test scores.

• Students must see an advisor before testing.

• Scores come in the next business day for all sections of the test except the essay portion, which takes two weeks.

• If needing to take only 1 or 2 portions of test, please contact Rosemary Carter ((281) 312-1524) to set up specific time or come to the Testing Center in SFA 203.

• Students may register in the Testing Center (SFA 203) and take the test the same day.
• Students need to allow at least 3 hours when taking the complete test. Call the testing center at 281-312-1476 for testing center hours.
• Students may pay $29 for the full test or $10 per section.
• Scores are given the same day upon completion of the test.
