Teacher Certification (TCP)
With an earned Bachelor's degree, and a reasonable investment of time and funds, the Teacher Certification Program (TCP) provides the opportunity to become a certified Teacher in Texas.
The Teacher Certification Program at Lone Star College–Kingwood is the largest community college teacher certification program in the state of Texas. We have certified over 1100 teachers in just over 5 years that our program has provided services to the community.

- Interested in becoming a teacher? Lone Star College–Kingwood Teacher Certification Program invites you to attend an informational meeting to find out the most information about the program. Information sessions are held monthly. Our next information meeting is Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 5:00pm in CLA 114. Please contact the Teacher Certification Program Office for more information.
- Application Deadline for Spring 2009 is December 1, 2008. Please get your application in early!
