Catch of the Month - May 2004

The May 2004 Fish Award Winner is Lyra Erlandson.
I would like to nominate Lyra Erlandson for the FISH service award. She is known in our office as Queen Lyra. Lyra has taken the lead in implementing R25 (a facilities software through Colleague) for our campus. R25 requires that every room and its contents be input into the system. Throughout the year, this has involved countless meetings and coordination with our sister campuses to build classrooms and take inventory. The goal was to have R25 up and running for Fall registration, so this required working closely with the divisions to input information required for R25 to work properly. Lyra went above and beyond the call of duty. She took ownership and a lot of pride in this project. She worked through lunch and worked late for about a month. She stayed until midnight on a Friday and was back to work on Saturday. Those of you who have worked closely with Lyra, know that no one can "scold" and "nag" as cheerfully as Lyra can. Lyra has accomplished her goal and that of the college by having R25 ready to go. Lyra has "Been There"; "Played", "Chosen her Attitude" on many occasions throughout this project; and is always there to "Make Our Day"!
