The September 2004 Fish Award Winner is Pam Clarke.
Can you think of anyone more deserving?!?!

I would like to nominate Pam Clarke. Pam has been inundated with requests from the 20th Anniversary Sub-Committees, each with requests for flyers, invitations, etc. She is often interrupted and has to leave her office at the last minute to join meetings already in progress to discuss their needs. She always does this with her usual quiet demeanor, and great attitude. She embraces the FISH philosophy - - She chooses her ATTITUDE and is THERE for her colleages. As busy as we have been keeping her - she probably does not have time to PLAY, but she always has a smile for everyone around her, (so maybe she is just not letting on that she PLAYS!!!!!!)

I would like to nominate Pam Clarke, supervisor of Designs In Print and Visual Communications adjunct faculty member, for "Catch of the Month". As only one of many college department personnel who work with Pam and her staff, I never cease to be amazed at the ease with which she juggles our varying deadlines, last minute changes and at times urgent projects which seem to appear out of nowhere. There is no time of year more packed with projects than the pre-fall semester blitz of ads, the CE schedule, various brochures, and promotional materials. Add to that, this year, the numerous publicity pieces associated with our 20th Anniversary Celebration--invitations, art for plaques, brochures, posters, programs, and more. She never complained once. She kept her "we can get it done" positive attitude and and stayed on top of every project that came her way. She is the perfect role model for the students who are fortunate enough to work with her each semester in Designs in Print. She is ever the cool professional, taking care of customers and deadlines with a smile on her face and a good word for everyone. She truly embodies the spirit of FISH.
