How to Calculate Your GPA
What is a Grade Point Average (GPA)?
Your GPA is an average of the numerical values of the grades earned in every course taken that counts toward your degree (except transfer credits). It is a ratio, like miles per hour. The GPA is equal to Grade Points (GP) per credit. Each letter grade has a Grade Point Value.
