 | Our programs
The computer information technology department offers educational programs designed to provide students with current technological skills needed for the workplace. Working closely with local business leaders, several certificates and degrees have been developed for workforce needs, including advancing career or college transfer goals.
The program is suited for: • First time computer users; • High school graduates with some computer training; • Professionals seeking cross-training or skills updating.
Two-year degrees. The technology department offers classes that lead to an associate of applied science (AAS) degree in Computer Application Support, Computer Game Design and Simulation, Computer Networking, E-Business Web Developer and Computer Programming.
One-year certificates. Students may select from a number of IT certificates including, but not limited to, Computer Networking Specialist, Network Administrator Certificate, E-Business Developer, Programming Specialist, and Gaming. Many of the certificate programs segue nicely into our AAS degrees.
We also prepare students for their Microsoft, CISCO, A+ and Net+ certifications. |
