In light of the recent lawsuit filed with the 196th district court which alleges Royce City, Texas was negligent for not teaching a peace officer fundamental Spanish. Lone Star College-Kingwood is offering training for First Responders and other businesses and agencies. They offer programs, including: ESL, Spanish, Report Writing, TCLEOSE Training, Crisis Intervention, Best Practices for Emergency Response Providers, Cultural Diversity, Sexual Assault Family Violence Investigation and many others.

The Lone Star College-Kingwood Continuing Education Department works closely with businesses, non-profit organizations, and schools in surrounding areas to improve performance.
