  INF_STU_CU_11487 Course Sections with Course Inventory Details No 

This report displays course section information with the course inventory details.  Use this report to review course sections entered for a new term to ensure that all the course sections for your campus division have an Active status in the course inventory. The report is group and sorted by the course current status by descending order, inactive courses will be displayed at the top of the report and separated from the active courses if the listing is less than 500 records.

You are able to select the academic level, status action (1 for active, 2 for canceled or blank of all), term, start date ranges, credit type and campus division code for a quick review of the information.  The report displays the term, registration number, course section number, title, course section start date, course section end date, AR code, tuition (if continuing education), fees, discounts (if continuing education), course academic level, course current status, course approval date, course start date, course end date, course name course credit type, course types, course tuition AR code (if continuing education), course tuition (if continuing education), course fees AR code, course fees, course prerequisites required flag, course co-requisite courses, course CIP code, course dept, CEUs (if continuing education) and terms offered.

  This report will display a list of graduates by entering the term, an academic program like AAS.AADN or C1.GRD1 and for multiple programs separated by a comma and space or leave blank for all academic programs and entering a single digit LSCS campus location number. The report is grouped by academic program and sorted by student last and first name. The column headings in the report are:  student ID, student first name, student last name, academic program, campus location, diploma name and degree.  Additional column headings are available by customizing:  transcript address, transcript city, transcript state, transcript zip and transcript country.

INF_STU_SRS_10036 XMMI Saved List     

Yes

Used to create a saved list for running XMMI in Colleague to get those active classes with students where a method of instruction on the SOFF screen does not have a faculty assigned to the FASC screen. In the first census date field enter the prior reporting term's census date.  In the second census date field box, enter the current reporting term's census date.  When the report listing appears, go to Export Options and select Saved List and enter the name (in caps only).  This Saved List name is to be inserted in the XMMI screen.

This report will give you a list of active students for a specific term on academic probation and suspension if you use the academic standing drop list to select the following: Academic Probation (A), Suspension for 1 term (B) and Suspended for 1 term (S).  Current home location give the current location of a student and is used if the end date of one location is the same as the start date of another.  The most recent start date will be considered the current home location and if dates are not included, the home location is considered current.

The report displays active students with active programs with the credit type of I(nstitutional) and D(evelopmental).  You will be required to enter a term and the academic program like field can be run for multiple purposes, you can identify all degrees by entering A... or all certificates (level 1 and level 2) by entering C... or you can enter the actual program like AA.FCOM or you can look for multiples by using a comma and space to separate your entries, for example:  AA..., AS... or you can enter AA.FOCM, AA.LIBA.  The following columns are available on the report:  active program(s), student ID, last and first name and current home location of student.

This report can be used to identify one type of course section status and group them in a saved list so you can change the statuses using SBSC as a batch process.  For example, if you plan the upcoming term by using P (Pending) status, you can use this procedure to group those P (Pending) course sections in a saved list and then using SBSC to change all of the courses section to A (Active) status when registration opens.  This procedure can be used for F (Filled-Division Approval) status course sections and change these course sections to A (Active) status after registration is over and you are preparing for state reporting.
The following columns are displayed:  current status, term, academic level, course section, title, days start date and time, faculty ID, last and first name, building, room and enrollment.

This report is used for gauging the use of PLA (prior learning assessment) methods and the high school articulation queries are also used for accountability measures and funding scales in an annual grant application. Give you a count of students receiving credits by one of these methods:  CLEP, AP (APCB), departmental (DEPT), internal challenge (EXAM), portfolio (PORT), CAPE, lincensure (LICS), certification (CERT), CE to Credit Articulation (CECR) or high school articulation (HART).  This report should be run by entering each individual method alone because the report saves by the unique person ID.

This report will display course sections that have course enrollment that exceeds the capacity.  If you course section never had the capacity entered, the course section will also display because the assumption is that the capacity is zero. Additional information related to course key and cross-listed (x-list) course keys were added to facilitate in finding the course sections that are linked to each other.  The primary flag column will display a "Y" if the course section is linked and the linked type will display M (master) or S (secondary).  Reg # is the course section synonym and the x-list reg # is for linked course section.  There maybe more than one secondary course section and it will be displayed under the x-list course keys.

This report will give you a list of active course sections with either CR or CE Academic Level. The report designed to be run two different ways:  the first method is to look for course sections with 0 (zero) enrollments, these course sections may need to be reviewed for cancellation purposes, and the course sections can be cancelled by using SBSC in Colleague. The second method is to run the report to identify missing faculty assignments that can be updated using FASC in Colleague.  The report includes the following information:  term; status; course section number; title; faculty; start, census and end dates and current enrollment.

This report will pull a list of unduplicated active students for the term indicated so it can be used for the ID system dump.  The report will display the student'™s ID, last and first name, birth date, address, city, state and zip code.  This report can be run so many different ways to narrow your selection criteria down--for example, if you wanted to get a listing of all students in division 301 but you want to exclude everyone with the required insurance fee course sections, enter INSL*1019*... in Course Section Unlike field box and enter 301 in the division field box. Other options include using department, faculty name and continuing education can use the SEC.PURPOSE for program manager numbers.  Another option to use a range of start dates and/or end dates.  For example:  to capture classes beginning between these two dates 3/1/07-3/15/07.  Enter 03/01/07 in the first Start Date field and 3/15/07 in the second Start Date field then click the Submit button.  You can also perform this same function when using the End Dates.  Note: due to the amount of data this report can pull it may take several minutes to run.

This report will display a listing of withdrawn student IDs, name, term, course section, section start and end dates, student's current status and status date.  This listing will display the student's information more than once if the student has enrolled in the course section numerous times because this report is not term specific.  If the same course section number was used in previous terms, this listing will include anyone that has ever registered for this course section regardless of term or student's status.

This report is used to gather only cross-listed (linked) course sections. The report groups the course sections by using the primary course section key. The report is designed so you can see course sections with related information grouped together so you can quickly identify missing or updated information in the following fields:  faulty ID and name, building and room and printed comment.   After reviewing the enrollment, another course section may need to be identified as the primary course section using SXRF so the secondary course sections can be cancelled due to zero enrollments. To run the report, enter an academic level but if you want to see any course sections that are linked to other credit types, leave this field blank.  Enter the term, it is a required field.  You can use the department or the division codes.  If you use the division codes be sure to include all division codes for all credit types.  If you use the SEC.LOCATION field, include satellite and LSC-Online location codes; otherwise, the report will only be partially complete.

INF_STU_CU_10276 Missing Section Registration Dates and Number of Weeks

 

The Section Registration Date Ranges (SRGD) screen identifies a number of different registration dates for the course section.  These dates are automatically calculated by a process called XRGD (the system Colleague checks for holidays).  XRGD is run at the conclusion of the schedule building process and every time a course section is added to the current or upcoming term. XRGD populates pre-registration, registration, add, drop and the census date.  This report will display ONLY the course sections that have missing dates on the SRGD screen or missing number of weeks on the SOFF screen in Colleague.  Missing number of weeks will prevent the XRGD from working properly; populate the number of weeks before using the XRGD process.
